    This article examines examples of metaphoric inversion, pairs of conceptual metaphors that employ the same metaphoric mapping but exhibit reversed topic-vehicle orientation. This phenomenon includes such pairs as ''PEOPLE ARE COMPUTERS'' versus ''COMPUTERS ARE PEOPLE''.
