    This article discusses ornamentation techniques of ceramic spindle whorls – accidental finds at the Galechnoe-1 settlement of the Sargat culture (Vengerovo District, Novosibirsk Region). These items were shaped by hands from a single lump of clay, and were fired unevenly with their color ranging from bright red to dark gray.     The largest necropolis of the Andronovo (Fedorovo) culture was explored at the Tartas-1 site which is located in the Ob-Irtysh interfluve.
