Contemplated Suicide among Voluntary and Involuntary Retirees
This study explored anomic and egoistic dimensions of contemplated suicide among voluntary and involuntary retired males. Significant differences were found in the participants' contemplation of suicide when considering degrees of anomie and egoism. Results indicated a direct relationship between anomie and egoism on the one hand, and contemplation of suicide on the other.
