Combining physical and psychological interventions
Developing interactive VR-based digital therapeutics for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Based on this development process, we propose a practical framework for designing interactive VR-based DTx. This framework bridges clinical structure, creative engagement, and real-time evaluation to support personalized and scalable applications in digital mental healthcare. It contributes to the standardization of digital transformation in evidence-based therapy and offers a transferable model for future therapeutic content development
Effect of a smartphone-based physical intervention on depression, fitness factors and movement characteristics in adults
The results revealed no differences in the reduction in depression scores between the exercise group and the control group. However, this study showed that a mobile phone-based physical activity intervention affects in-game movement characteristics such as body sway and vertical head movement and therefore may show the potential of using activity-promoting mobile games for improving movement

Design and field trial of EmotionFrame
Capturing people’s spontaneous thoughts or daily emotions in their everyday living space can be difficult and can pose a psychological burden from a clinical standpoint. To address this issue, we have developed EmotionFrame, which allows users to archive their daily experiences by recording videos of their current thoughts and emotions at home. EmotionFrame serves as a journaling device, and the parameters for journaling have been determined base…
Changes in inhibitory control, craving and affect after yoga vs. aerobic exercise among smokers with nicotine dependence
As yoga and aerobic exercise were equally effective in attenuating negative affect, smokers may expect greater benefits from yoga in craving reduction and inhibitory control with less physical and cognitive effort. We also believe that video-based yoga practice may provide additional benefits to these effects, reaching a large number of smokers in a non-face-to-face manner
Development of a Conceptual Model of Occupational Stress for Athletic Directors in Sport Contexts
Previous studies have reported that occupational stress is a determinant risk factor for both chronic diseases and job performance among organizational leaders. Every occupation has its own culture and occupational climate influencing organizations within the industries. Thus, due to the idiosyncratic features inherent in sports, athletic directors may experience different occupational stressors. To date, there has been no comprehensive review of…
