Men and women perceive marital burnout differently, and what triggers marital burnout may further differ with national context. This cross-national study examined how individuals' conflict negotiation styles may mediate the relationship between gender and marital burnout. This cross‐sectional study examined gender differences between male‐ and female‐typed housework during the early COVID‐19 lockdowns in 2020. Women spent more time on female‐typed tasks and men (in Nigeria and…

The study was conducted in three stages: a pilot study (n = 150), a main study (n = 300), and a validation study (n = 201). The participants were mainly from urban and semiurban settings. Exploratory factor analysis revealed four factors on both the Sukha …
Development and validation of a test on Anasakti (non-attachment)
Deriving our theoretical model from the Hindu religious text Srimad Bhagvad Gita, gaps in the existing frameworks on the concept of Anasakti (non-attachment) were found. The purpose of the study was to develop and test psychometric properties of a scale based on this Indian concept. We pooled 46 items which included items from existing scales as well as new items. The data were collected from 366 students (236 females and 130 males; mean age = 23…
