Climate Risk in Supply Chains
As global climate physical risks intensify, localized extreme weather events increasingly trigger systemic supply chain disruptions, posing a severe but often overlooked threat to corporate sustainability. Although existing literature predominantly focuses on a firm's direct exposure to climate shocks, the indirect transmission of these physical risks through upstream supply networks remains critically underexplored. To bridge this gap, this stud…

The influence of adiposity status and the trajectories of obesity indicators on earlier puberty onset in girls
A global trend toward earlier onset of puberty in girls has been reported, with increasing prevalence observed in countries such as Denmark, South Korea, and China. Early puberty is associated with a range of adverse physical and psychological outcomes. Obesity is a key modifiable factor potentially contributing to early pubertal development; however, most existing evidence is based on cross-sectional studies. In China, longitudinal studies using…
Career Mobility Analysis With Uncertainty-Aware Graph Autoencoders
Career mobility analysis aims at discovering the movement patterns of employees across different job positions or grades, which can benefit various human resource-related applications. Indeed, recent studies in this direction mainly focus on modeling individual career trajectories, while the macroguidance for labor market assessment has been largely ignored. To this end, in this article, we propose to study career mobility from a market-driven pe…
Association of neutrophil percentage to albumin ratio with gallstones
The higher the NPAR, the higher the prevalence of GS, and the earlier the age of the patient at the time of the first GS surgery. Due to the nature of cross-sectional study, it is not possible to determine a causal relationship between them
Methyltetrahydrofolate Alleviates Memory Impairment in a Rat Model of Alzheimer’s Disease Induced by D-Galactose and Aluminum Chloride
The effects of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) on a rat model of Alzheimer's disease (AD) induced by D-galactose (D-gal) and aluminum chloride (AlCl 3 ) were investigated. Wistar rats were given an i.p. injection of 60 mg/kg D-gal and 10 mg/kg AlCl 3 to induce AD and three doses of 1 mg/kg, 5 mg/kg or 10 mg/kg 5-MTHF by oral gavage. A positive control group was treated with 1 mg/kg donepezil by gavage. Morris water maze performance showed that …
Early-Life Neglect Alters Emotional and Cognitive Behavior in a Sex-Dependent Manner and Reduces Glutamatergic Neuronal Excitability in the Prefrontal Cortex
Early-life neglect in critical developmental periods has been associated with emotional and cognitive consequences. Maternal separation (MS) has been commonly used as a rodent model to identify the developmental effects of child neglect. However, reports have shown considerable variability in behavioral results from MS studies in both mice and rats. Difficulties in developing reliable child neglect models have impeded advances in identifying the …
