  • Factors associated with unplanned pregnancy among Malaysian women of reproductive age

Open Access•Asvini K Subasinghe, Siew Lim et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

There is low contraceptive use in this sample, particularly among women who have had a history of unplanned pregnancy, with lack of access to contraception cited as the main driver. Mothers, as well as young women, in Malaysia may benefit from health promotion activities to further inform contraceptive counselling interventions to reduce the risk of subsequent unplanned pregnancies and improve pregnancy planning

Leonard A Jason, Samuel Jayaraj et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Public Health•1990•Cited by: 3•References: 4

We evaluated a worksite smoking cessation program that employed multicomponents including support groups, incentives, and competition. The combination of incentives and other components increased participation rates to over 80%.
