  • China’s Oil Security Under the “Double Carbon” Constraint

    Open Access•An Cheng, Shengnan Huang•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2025

This paper evaluates China’s oil security from 2010 to 2019 under the “double carbon” constraint using an entropy-based multi-indicator system. The system encompasses four dimensions: supply security, demand security, market security, and the “double carbon” constraint, with 16 secondary indicators. The results show that China’s oil security experienced three stages: a peak followed by a decline and then a low-level fluctuation. Supply security d…

  • Implementation fidelity to a behavioral diabetes prevention intervention in two New York City safety net primary care practices

Open Access•Avni Gupta, Jiyuan Hu et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2023

The trial was registered with ClinicalTrials.gov on 30/12/2016 and the registration number is NCT03006666

  • How Has Climate Change Driven the Evolution of Rice Distribution in China

Open Access•Guogang Wang, Shengnan Huang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Estimating the impact of climate change risks on rice distribution is one of the most important elements of climate risk management. This paper is based on the GEE (Google Earth Engine) platform and multi-source remote sensing data; the authors quantitatively extracted rice production distribution data in China from 1990 to 2019, analysed the evolution pattern of rice distribution and clusters and explored the driving effects between climatic and…

  • Loss of Microglia and Impaired Brain-Neurotrophic Factor Signaling Pathway in a Comorbid Model of Chronic Pain and Depression

Open Access•Cuizhen Zhu, Jinjie Xu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2018

Major depressive disorder (MDD) and chronic pain are two complex disorders that often coexist. The underlying basis for this comorbidity is unknown. In the current investigation, microglia and the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)-cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB) pathway were investigated. A comorbidity model, with characteristics of both MDD and chronic pain, was developed by the administration of dextran sodium sulfate (DSS) …
