Knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards dry eye disease treatment among patients
To examine the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding dry eye disease (DED) treatment among patients. We conducted a cross-sectional study at the Shanghai Fourth People’s Hospital, affiliated with Tongji University, from December 6, 2023, to March 22, 2024. Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire. A total of 416 valid cases were enrolled, with 302 (72.6%) being female. The median [25%, 75%] knowledge, attitude, …
Hierarchical clustering of groups’ collaborative discourses during the computer-supported collaborative concept mapping process
Unravelling the Computational Thinking and Spatial Thinking Development
Enhancing computational thinking and spatial reasoning skills in gamification programming learning
Tangible programming tools have become a mainstream teaching aid in gamification programming learning (GPL) due to their interactivity and ability to enhance novice learners' computational thinking and spatial reasoning skills. However, comparing the relative efficacy of different programming tools that simultaneously support these skills was not adequately explored. This study designed and evaluated three programming tools: the tangible programm…

Impacts of enhanced new-particle growth events above urban roughness sublayer on cloud condensation nuclei
New-particle formation (NPF) events are frequently observed in urban environments, yet their occurrence and climate effects are still in question. We analyzed the physical and chemical processes during the new-particle growth (NPG) at the ground and 260 m based on measurements on the 325-m tower in the megacity of Beijing, China. Our results provide evidence for stronger NPG aloft in city, mainly due to the higher production of sulfuric acid alof…
Psychological distress in biliary tract malignancy patients
The detection rate of psychological distress in patients with biliary tract malignant tumors is notably high. The predictive model constructed in this study exhibits good predictive efficacy and clinical value, providing valuable reference for healthcare professionals in developing targeted intervention strategies
Measurement of risk spillover effect based on EV-Copula method
Based on the extreme value theory, copula function, and conditional value at risk (Abbreviated as CoVaR) model, an extreme value copula CoVaR (EV-Copula CoVaR) model is established. In application, the risk spillover effect of the carbon trading market on the stock market of China is investigated. Firstly, using the index synthesis method, the carbon trading price index is synthesized through the price data of the test area of carbon emission, th…
