Numerical Analysis of Strength and Rigidity of the Biomechanical System «bone-Apparatus
Influence of various factors (conditions) on strength and stiffness of the biomechanical system of "machine-bone" was studied using application of extrafocal rod osteosynthesis in cases of long bone fractures. The problem solution of stability of the concerned biomechanical system in which the interaction of "bone-apparatus" is presented in the form of an elastic system consisting of two absolutely rigid links (broken bone), interconnected by ela…
Monitoring of Regional Determinate Medical-Social Signs in Patients With Shock-Producing Traumas
On the basis of a comparative analysis of medical aid delivery to 114 victims of shock-producing traumas treated at the Arkhangelsk Regional Clinical Hospital (a trauma center of the I-st level) in 2013 and to 104 victims treated in the Arkhangelsk hospitals in 2002, there have been specified determinate medical and social signs in characteristics of gender, age, social position, alcohol intoxication, injury mechanism, comorbidity. The men made u…
Structure of Shock-Producing Trauma in Patients Admitted to I Level Injury Care Center in Arkhangelsk
We present structural specification of shock-producing trauma in 140 patients admitted to I level injury care center (Arkhangelsk Regional Hospital) in 2008-2013 and in 104 patients with shock-producing trauma, treated in Arkhangelsk Medical Preventive Institution (MPI) in 2002. Study is observational, cohort, longitudinal, retrospective. Statistic analysis was made by using programmes EpiInfo (TM) 3.4.1. and SPSS 19.0 for Windows. Among 140 pati…
The Role of Local Injection Therapy in Improving Quality of Life of Patients With Gonarthrosis
On the basis of a comparative analysis depending on a disease stage, there have been given the results of treatment of 42 patients with osteoarthrosis of the knee joint with the method of local injection therapy. The patients were treated on an outpatient basis by an orthopedist. It has been found that the best improvement results have been reached at the I stage of OA in 94.7 % of the patients, the results were slightly worse at the II stage - i…
Combined Craniocerebral and Skeletal Injuries Associated With Alcohol Consumption
The article has emphasized the problem of injuries related to alcohol consumption. An analysis of contemporary research on this topic and own data have been given. Intoxicated patients had more severe injuries, a more serious course of illness, a greater incidence of complications and mortality. Alcohol intoxication provoked formation of delayed intracranial hematomas. The tendency to form multiple intracranial hematomas and subarachnoid hemorrha…
Characteristics of Damages in Rescuees and Victims in River Shipwrecks
The structure of traumatism and damages in 441 victims of river shipwrecks in 1983-2012 has been studied. The main types of damages in 172 rescuees in the river shipwrecks were light supercoolings (65.1 %), isolated, multiple and concomitant mechanical traumas (23.8 %), combined mechanical-cold traumas (7.6 %), combined mechanical-burn damages (3.5 %). Among 269 victims, the reasons of the lethal outcomes were drowning (68.4 %), mechanical damage…
Pelvic Injuries as Problem of Current Traumatism
The data of the national and foreign authors referring to the pelvic ring trauma as an isolated, multiple and concomitant injury has been analyzed. A comparative analysis of classification, diagnosis, treatment and outcomes among patients with various pelvic injuries has been made
Structure of Acute Diseases of Internal Organs and Secondary Organopathological Changes in Victims of Marine Disasters
The structure of acute diseases of the internal organs and secondary organopatological changes in survivors of big marine disasters of military and civil ships connected with hull damages and their sinking in the period from 1980 till 2011 has been studied. The acute diseases of the internal organs developed in 28.1 %: with supercooling at the background - in17.1 % of the persons, combined two-factor meсhanical-cold injuries in 9.6 %, ambustial-c…
