Thallium Exposure Secondary to Commercial Kale Chip Consumption
Thallium can bioaccumulate in our food system, particularly in brassica vegetables like kale. Thallium concentration in foods can also be affected by manufacturing processes, such as dehydration. We have limited surveillance data nationally regarding this metal in our food supply. Dietary reviews internationally show increased thallium intake in toddlers. Limited information is available about low-dose or chronic exposures, particularly among chi…

Application of Artificial Neural Networks to Predict the Use of Mobile Learning by University Students
The use of mobile devices has become pervasive in recent times, constituting an essential component of daily life. Mobile phones have enabled certain minorities to attain access to the Internet, news, and knowledge, thereby indicating their potential to reduce the digital divide experienced by ethnic groups and those from low socioeconomic backgrounds. This phenomenon has generated academic interest in the utilization of mobile devices to facilit…
Investigating the Impact of User Trust on the Adoption and Use of ChatGPT
BACKGROUND: ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) has gained popularity for its ability to generate human-like responses. It is essential to note that overreliance or blind trust in ChatGPT, especially in high-stakes decision-making contexts, can have severe consequences. Similarly, lacking trust in the technology can lead to underuse, resulting in missed opportunities. OBJECTIVE: This study investigated the impact of users' trust in …
