Guided by an interpretive paradigm, the study sought to understand participants’ beliefs through semi-structured i…
Educational Robotics and Computational Thinking
The integration of educational robotics and computational thinking into teaching is a growing trend that presents challenges and opportunities for teacher training. Grounded in theoretical perspectives that position educational robotics as a central element for the development of computational thinking, the STEAM approach, and consequently digital teaching competence, this study aims to analyze the perceptions of teachers who teach children aged …
A poesia visual do perfil @claricefreire e(m) perspectiva dialógica

Substantiation of the invisible
This study started from a collaborative work developed with a group of educators, who work in an institution that welcomes children from 0 to 6 years. The educators, after participating in a seminar on documentation and evaluation in early childhood education, showed enthusiasm to learn how to document the children's voice and experiences. This study analyses the processes of awareness that occurred over a two-year period of action and that revea…
The Effects of Covid-19 Lockdown on the Perception of Physical Activity and on the Perception of Musculoskeletal Symptoms in Computer Workers
Lockdown resulting from the pandemic led to a change in the health habits of the computer workers community. Sedentary work, together with less active lifestyles, aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic leads to impacts on physical activity (PA) and can contribute to the development of musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS). Aim(s): Understand the effects of lockdown on the perception of physical activity levels and on the perception of frequency of musculos…
Positive Effects of an Online Workplace Exercise Intervention during the Covid-19 Pandemic on Quality of Life Perception in Computer Workers
After 17 weeks of workplace exercises, it became clear that the intervention group positively increased their QoL perception, with this improvement being significant in the Pain domain, which resulted in an improvement in their health condition. Therefore, further studies are needed to determine the optimal exercise for CWs, with detailed exercise types, different intensities and focused on various health conditions
Occupational Health
A lack of physical activity in computer workers (CW) can contribute to the development of musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS). Aim: (i) Evaluate MSS over a 12 month and 7 days period, (ii) determine physical activity (PA) levels and compliance with World Health Organization (WHO) PA recommendations, and (iii) assess the relationship between compliance with WHO PA recommendations and MSS. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study comprising 119 co…
