Barriers to Entry and Adaptation Strategies for Fixed-term Female Physical Education Teachers in Middle Schools
본 연구는 중등 기간제 여자체육교사의 진입장벽과 교직생활의 어려움을 이해하고 본인만의 적응 전략을 알아보는 데에 목적이 있다. 눈덩이 표집법을 이용하여 현재 동남권 중등학교에 기간제 여자체육교사로 종사하고 있는 4명을 선정하였고, 심층면담과 뉴스, 관련 도서, 선행연구 등을 통해 다양한 자료를 수집하였다. 이러한 자료를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 중등 기간제 여자체육교사로의 진입 어려움은 ‘체육교과목에 대한 젠더 편견’, ‘짜여진 각본의 엑스트라’, ‘체육교사 = 안전생활부로’의 카테고리로 분류되었다. 둘째, 중등 기간제 여자체육교사의 교직 생활의 적응 어려움은 크게 ‘꼬리표 : “여자라서”’, ‘불공정한 업무 분장’, ‘불안정한 신분’, ‘불공정한 성과보상’으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중등 기간제 여자체육교사의 적응전략은 ‘적극적으로 대처하기’, ‘전문성 함양을 위한 노력’, ‘…
