W artykule dokonano próby ukazania atrakcyjności obszaru odpoczynkowo-rekreacyjnego, jakim jest Las Łagiewnicki w Łodzi pod kątem urozmaicenia rzeźby powierzchni terenu. Pracę wykonano w oparciu o analizy cyfrowych modeli wysokościowych przy wykorzystaniu technik GIS oraz obserwacje wykonane bezpośrednio w terenie. Na podstawie analizy rzeźby terenu zaproponowano nowy szlak turystyczny uwzględniający walory morfometryczne terenu
