Comparative studies of EV fleet smart charging approaches for demand response in solar-powered building communities
Enhanced Dewatering of Activated Sludge by Skeleton-Assisted Flocculation Process
Sludge dewatering is the fundamental process of sludge treatment. Environmentally friendly and efficient sludge conditioning methods are the premises of sludge to achieve dehydration reduction and resource utilization. In response to sewage plant sludge dehydration, fly ash (FA), polymerized aluminum chloride (PAC), and polymer sulfate (PFS) were studied separately to determine their sludge dehydration performance, and the effects of these three …
A study on semi-supervised learning in enhancing performance of AHU unseen fault detection with limited labeled data
Differential evolution - based system design optimization for net zero energy buildings under climate change
Optimum insulation thicknesses and energy conservation of building thermal insulation materials in Chinese zone of humid subtropical climate
Preparation of Attapulgite/CoFe2O4 Magnetic Composites for Efficient Adsorption of Tannic Acid from Aqueous Solution
The use of attapulgite (ATP)-based materials for adsorption of pollutants from water and wastewater has received growing attention. However, recovering ATP-based adsorbents remains a challenge. In this study, a magnetic adsorbent ATP/CoFe 2 O 4 with high tannic acid (TA) adsorptive capacity was fabricated via a facile co-precipitation approach and was well characterized. The loaded CoFe 2 O 4 particles were embedded into the adsorbent surfaces to…
Self-regulation of Elite Athletes in China
The perceived self-regulation of Chinese world-class athletes were examined in this study. Qualitative data from 14 athletes were analyzed by a grounded theory method. The feelings of Chinese elite athletes who achieved either successful or unsuccessful self-regulation were noted. Results showed that successful self-regulation involved a calm mental state, smooth rhythm in performance, concentration, and flow, whereas rhythmic disorder, stress, m…
