  • Visual Analysis of Global Carbon Mitigation Research Based on Scientific Knowledge Graphs

    Open Access•Na Su, Zhenbo Wang•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Global temperature change is related to the destiny of all mankind, and carbon mitigation, as well as greenhouse gases control, are key points. In order to explore the basic knowledge, research hotspots and trends in global carbon mitigation research, this paper, based on 15,304 carbon mitigation articles from Web of Science, from 1991 to 2021, conducts spatio-temporal distribution, country distribution, research hotspots and cooperation network …

  • How Sincere is an Apology? Recovery Satisfaction in A Robot Service Failure Context

Open Access•Yaou Hu, Hyounae Min et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Hospitality & Tourism…•2021

This study examined the effects of service recovery entities (i.e., robot-generated text, robot-generated voice, and human service employee) on recovery satisfaction through the mediation of perceived sincerity. This study also tested the moderating role of the need for human interaction. The results of this study suggest that people perceive service recovery provided by a human to be more sincere than that provided by a service robot, thereby le…

  • Sol-gel synthesis and characterization of MgSO4

Mazdida Sulaiman, Na Su et al.•ARTICLE•New Materialisms•2019

Composite solid electrolytes in the system (1-x)MgSO 4 :Mg(NO 3 ) 2 -xAl 2 O 3 with x = 0.1-0.6 were synthesized by sol-gel method and analysed by X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and alternating current impedance spectroscopy. Structural analysis revealed solid-solid phase transformation of anhydrous MgSO 4 to -MgSO 4 after sinteri…

  • Systemic Therapy for Youth at Clinical High Risk for Psychosis

Open Access•Jingyu Shi, Lu Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2017

Psychosocial intervention trials for youth at clinical high risk (CHR) for psychosis have shown promising effects on treating psychotic symptoms but have not focused on psychosocial functional outcomes, and those studies have been conducted among help-seeking patients; there is a lack of research on non-clinical young CHR individuals. Systemic therapy (ST) is grounded in systemic-constructivist and psychosocial resilience theories. It has a numbe…

  • Comorbid Mental Disorders and 6-Month Symptomatic and Functioning Outcomes in Chinese University Students at Clinical High Risk for Psychosis

Open Access•Jingyu Shi, Lu Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2017

In the non-clinical sample of individuals at CHR, non-psychotic comorbid mental disorders are common and anxiety disorder is most frequent. Copresence of anxiety and/or depression is related to higher level of attenuated psychotic symptoms and unfavorable clinical outcome at 6-month follow-up. Assessment and intervention in anxiety and depression for non-clinical CHR adolescents are suggested

  • Family Impacts on Self-Esteem in Chinese College Freshmen

Open Access•Jingyu Shi, Lu Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2017

This study examined the impact of family function and family-related factors, such as being an only child, grandparenting, income, and family relationship on the self-esteem in college students who are in the transitional period from late adolescence to emerging adulthood. The participants were 2001 Chinese college freshmen with the age from 16 to 20 years. Data were collected by using the family assessment device (FAD), the Rosenberg Self-esteem…

  • Sol-gel Synthesis and Characterizations of MgSO4- Al2O3 Composite Solid Electrolytes

Na Su, N Che Su et al.•ARTICLE•New Materialisms•2016

In this study, composite solid electrolytes in the system (1-x) MgSO4 – x Al2O3 with x = 0.1 - 0.6 mole were prepared by a citric acid assisted sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed the transformation of anhydrous MgSO4 to β-MgSO4 upon sintering at 900 ̊C for 2 hours. The prepared composite samples exhibited both crystalline and amorphous state of β-MgSO4. The highest conductivity found was 1.9 ×10-6 S cm-1 with x = 0.6 at elevated…
