Rehearsals in Citizenship: BBC Stop-Motion Animation Programmes For Young Children
This essay argues that BBC stop-motion animations for under-fives reflect changes in British culture and citizenship over the second half of the twentieth century, and can be regarded as rehearsals in citizenship.
