    Radio Free Asia (RFA) was a CIA initiative established in September 1951 to disseminate anti-communist propaganda into China during the Korean War. However, RFA failed in its intended mission in 1953. Archival resources and recent declassified CIA documents reveal that the failure was primarily the result of the State Department-CIA rivalry over RFA.
