A structural equation model of successful aging in Korean older women
The purpose of this study was to test a hypothetical model of successful aging based on the selection-optimization-compensation (SOC) model in Korean older women. The obtained results confirm that SOC strategies, subjective health status, and family support exert significant direct effects on the successful aging of older women, while depression and social support have indirect effects.
