  • Bipolar disorder integrative staging

Open Access•Nicolaja Girone, Laura Cremaschi et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2025

Bipolar disorder (BD) is a lifelong, recurrent condition with growing evidence supporting a neuroprogressive course, entailing the need to adopt staging models to guide stage-specific interventions. Although different approaches have been proposed, their application remains limited and largely based on clinical features. BOARDING-PASS is an Italian government-funded, multicenter, prospective, and observational study aimed at advancing current kno…

  • Finite Mixtures of Latent Trait Analyzers With Concomitant Variables for Bipartite Networks

Dalila Failli, Maria Francesca Marino et al.•ARTICLE•Multivariate Behavioral Research•2024

  • Probabilistic Disjoint Principal Component Analysis

Carla Ferrara, Francesca Martella et al.•ARTICLE•Multivariate Behavioral Research•2019

One of the most relevant problems in principal component analysis and factor analysis is the interpretation of the components/factors. In this paper, disjoint principal component analysis model is extended in a maximum-likelihood framework to allow for inference on the model parameters. A coordinate ascent algorithm is proposed to estimate the model parameters. The performance of the methodology is evaluated on simulated and real data sets
