Changing Patterns of Remarriage in Canada, 1961-1966
An analysis of gross and net remarriage tables prepared for the widowed and the divorced populations in Canada reveals that the remarriage chances are in favor of males as compared to females. Among the females, the widowed stood better chances of remarriage in comparison to the divorcees.
