In order to determine the trend and characteristics of the manuscripts received and rejected in the Peruvian Journal of Experimental Medicine and Public Health (RPMESP), the manuscripts that followed the editorial process from 2011 to 2017 were analyzed, according to the type of manuscript, characteristics of the corresponding author, and rejection decisions. The aim of this study was to estimate and analyze the evolution of mortality rates due to suicide in Peru between 2004 and 2013.
