Type and Volume of Milk Intake in Premature Infants <33 Weeks Gestational Age in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The EHM group received colostrum earlier than those who received a mixed diet with formula and reached full MOM by the second week of life. This represents the opportunity to address challenges of milk supply of mothers with premature infants in the NICU in the first two weeks after birth
Short-Term Maternal and Neonatal Outcomes in Preterm (<33 Weeks Gestation) Cesarean Deliveries Under General Anesthesia with Deferred Cord Clamping
DCC was performed in a majority of CD under GA by adhering to protocols to shorten DCC in cases where maternal or fetal safety was threatened. GA with DCC was not associated with increased neonatal resuscitation or major neonatal morbidities and was associated with lower maternal hemorrhage and transfusion
Longer Duration of Cord Clamping Improves Nicu Survival Without Major Morbidities in Very Preterm Infants
Longer duration of DCC is associated with improved survival without major morbidities in preterm infants <33 weeks GA
