  • Ew anthropological and paleogenomic studies of an Eastern hunter-gatherer from the Berendeevo I site

    The skeletal remains from two burials at the site, which later became known as Berendeevo I, were initially studied by N.N. Mamonova. The archaeological context in the article was mainly focused on the paleogeography and geomorphology of the site. A brief list of archaeological finds and a description of the discovered burials was presented. One skeleton was identified as male. Astakhov at the locality of Torgalyk B situated on the right bank of the Torgalyk River in the south of Tuva, not far from the Russian-Mongolian border.
