    We describe a partially preserved iron shield discovered in the Uybat steppe, Republic of Khakassia, in 2019. Measuring 65 cm in diameter and weighing over 4 kg, it is fl at, rounded, and riveted from 14 identical segmentshaped iron plates. The edge is decorated with a pattern of fi ne serrations.     Purpose. This article analyzes 78 pieces of horse equipment from a medieval burial of a woman and a newborn child. A silver-inlaid iron stirrup stands out among the rest. Results. Ornamentation covers both sides of the stirrup neck, the bows, and the inner and outer sides of the footrest.     This article presents the results of ongoing fieldwork at the rapidly crumbling Tashtyk burial ground of Tesinsky Zaliv-3 located in Bograd District of the Republic of Khakassia. Bones of adult human were found on the rocky beach of the shore from a burial which collapsed from the coastal cliff. Excavation pit VII revealed two ground graves.     In 1962, an iron sword entered the funds of the Khakass Museum of Local Lore. It was discovered under random circumstances in the vicinity of the Podsinee village (currently a suburb of the city of Abakan). Yu.S.     This article describes the findings of excavations of an Early Saka kurgan at Kyrykoba, Eastern Kazakhstan. The kurgan had been looted; human remains, according to physical anthropologists, belonged to a mature woman. Her cranium exhibited trepanation.     This article analyzes a tinder bag of the type that became widespread among the Turkic- and Mongolian-speaking peoples of Siberia and Central Asia in the Late Middle Ages and ethnographic period.     This article presents the results of ongoing fieldwork at the rapidly crumbling Tashtyk burial ground of Tesinsky Zaliv-3 located in Bograd District of the Republic of Khakassia.
