Study on the ability of Eichhornia crassipes L. plant to absorb manganese from polluted water
This study was conducted on the Eichhornia crassipes plant and tested its ability to remove the Manganese (Mn) from contaminated water through the absorption of this element and its accumulation inside the tissues, and the plant was dosed with Mn element at a concentration of 0.8 mg/l, where the results showed after digesting the plant in the laboratory the ability of the root system of E.crassipes to absorb the mineral Manganese and accumulate i…
Ability of Eichhornia crassipes L. to absorb nickel from polluted water flowing into the Kufa River
The current study was conducted on the Eichhornia crassipes plant after collecting it, from the Ghazi River, one of the water channels branching from the Najaf Sea in the city of Najaf Al-Ashraf to reveal about its ability to absorb existing Nickel in the contaminated water of the Kufa River. The plant was dosed weekly with 7.1 mg/L of Nickel for 21 days after acclimatization plant in laboratory using plastic basins (10 L capacity) of equal dimen…
