This constructivist-grounded-theory qualitative study examined the experiences of burnout among sexual minority identified, male, mental health practitioners. Twenty-one people participated in semi-structured, in-depth interviews. Mark MacPhail was murdered. The body of the white police officer was found fatally shot in Savannah, Georgia on August 19, 1989. Black and poor, Troy Anthony Davis was convicted of the murder and sentenced to death. Many people believe Davis innocent. An Autoethnography of a Face
Deleuze and Guattari (1987) suggest that one is a hacceity, an individuation that is not an individual, and a Body without Organs (BwO), multiplicities on a plane of immanence. Hacceities and BwOs flow unimpeded. Without direction they continually change.
