Unlocking Heritage at the Eastern State Penitentiary
Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, a decommissioned state prison in Philadelphia that reopened as an interpretive site in 1994, reflects what philosopher Charles Taliaferro refers to as an open museum, one that is concerned with dialogue on res publica.
