The plain of Lunel and Mauguio has been intensively prospected since 1986. The results of this investigation have allowed to obtain an archeological map listing, on the one hand more than 200 sites which have been identified as settlements, and on the other hand land manure spreading zones which were occupied during Antiquity and early Middle Ages.
