O objetivo desse trabalho é realizar uma revisão – ainda que não exaustiva ou definitiva – das principais discussões do campo da teoria da tradução sobre questões de identidade e alteridade, questões essas que se mostram profícuas para a compreensão dos debates sobre domesticação e exotização no trabalho do tradutor.
