Deer, drought, and warfare: Managing risk in the central Illinois river valley (Cirv) from the eleventh through fourteenth centuries
We investigated how Mississippian residents of the Central Illinois River Valley (CIRV) altered their hunting strategies in response to climate change and warfare in the 13th and 14th centuries.
