We read with great interest the article by Kıyak et al,1 ‘“ChatGPT can make mistakes” warnings fail: A randomized controlled trial’. The study provides crucial empirical evidence that medical students significantly underweight AI diagnostic advice and that prominent safety disclaimers do not alter this behaviour.
