Assessing Antisocial Traits with the Sepba: An Integrative Approach
This study evaluated the psychometric properties of the SEPBA-APD, a brief 14-item measure of Antisocial Personality Disorder designed as a conceptually hybrid instrument integrating categorical DSM-5 criteria with dimensional AMPD and HiTOP models. A community sample (n=600) and an incarcerated sample (n=149) completed the scale. Factor analyses supported both bifactor and second-order structures, as well as a unifactorial structure. Evidence fr…
Maladaptive facet trait profiles and psychopathology: A person-centered assessment approach
Person-centered approaches in personality allow greater understanding of how different subpopulations with specific personality profiles are linked with relevant outcomes. Studies under the Five Factor Model agree on the observation of a Resilient, an Undercontrolled and an Overcontrolled profile. However, studies using maladaptive traits are much more limited. The present research identify personality profiles based on the 25 maladaptative facet…
Examining the relationships between emotional disorder symptoms in a mixed sample of community adults and patients: A network analysis perspective
According to the literature, comorbidity rates observed on emotional disorders are linked to how the main diagnostic classification systems have traditionally defined these disorders. This paper aims to analyze the structure of symptoms evaluated with the Inventory of Depression and Anxiety Symptoms-II (IDAS-II) with network analysis. A mixed sample ( n = 2021) of 1692 community adults and 329 patients was used. 14.79% ( n = 299) of the sample me…
The nature of standards: How standards shape the value of nature
The article analyzes how the Global G.A.P. standard has contributed to the construction of a link between nature and agriculture and to a form of nature valuation that has strong historical roots in the process of agricultural modernization of the Region of Murcia. It explores how Global G.A.P. has created an institutional and normative space in which the interactions of human and non-human elements (technology, norms, procedures, nature values, …
Gender differences in condom use prediction with Theory of Reasoned Action and Planned Behaviour: The role of self-efficacy and control
There is much evidence that demonstrates that programs and interventions based on the theoretical models of the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) have been effective in the prevention of the sexual transmission of HIV. The objective of this work is to compare the effectiveness of both models in the prediction of condom use, distinguishing two components inside the variable Perceived Behavioural Control of t…
