Consumer preferences for differentiated fruit products
Purpose This study evaluates consumer preferences and willingness to pay (WTP) for labelled fruit products while explicitly accounting for attribute non-attendance (AN-A) and the role of information provision. Political Economy of Environmental Policy Under Trade
The link between environment and trade has long been the subject of intense policy debate. This study reviews the existing literature and addresses key gaps. The Covid ‐19 pandemic and trade in agricultural products
In this study, we develop a structural gravity model to analyse the effects of the ongoing COVID‐19 pandemic on international trade in food and agriculture. Using detailed data on trade flows, we estimate the trade impacts of the pandemic for major sectors in food and agriculture. Supply‐side impacts on trade caused by reductions in labour tend to be largest in labour‐intensive sectors such as meat processing and processed fruit and vegetables. T…
A changing landscape
The international epidemiology of Hepatitis Delta Virus (HDV) is challenging to accurately estimate due to limited active surveillance for this rare infectious disease. Prior HDV epidemiological studies have relied on meta-analysis of aggregated and static datasets. These limitations restrict the capacity to actively detect low-level and/or geographically dispersed changes in the incidence of HDV diagnoses. This study was designed to provide a re…

The analysis is performed for bread and cookies to examine whether the findings are different for virtue and vice food categories. Design/methodology/approach A consumer survey was conducted across the west…
