Physical fitness and motor ability of school children aged 12 to 17 by the nine grades of the stout-lean index
肥〓度が青少年の体力•運動能力に及ぼす影響を知るために,12-17歳の男女7,849名の体力•運動能力を性•年齢別に肥〓度により9段階に分類し,分散分析法で解析した結果;1)F値が全年齢群で有意な項目は男女の握力,50m走,走り幅とび,持久走,5年齢群で有意な項目は男女のハンドボール投げ,男子の垂直とびであった;2)F値が半数以上の年齢群で有意でない項目は男女の柔軟性,女子の反復横とび,垂直とび,踏み台昇降,懸垂であった;3)SCHEFFÉ 法の検定結果により,肥〓段階 VII から肥満度に比例して記録の低下する走り幅とび型,肥〓段階IVまで〓身度に比例して記録の低下する握力型,肥〓段階 I,II で記録の低下するボール投げ型,あまり差のない伏臥上体そらし型などに分類された
A study on the normality of distribution of the physique data in the Japanese youth
全国青少年の体格の度数分布を, k 統計量による正規性検定によって解析した結果,下記の知見を得た。1)胸囲の歪度係数は左右対称型である14歳男子以外,すべて有意な正の歪度であった。女子の14歳と16歳のみが統計的にみて,正規性の認められる尖度係数であった。2)正の最大歪度は身長(男:11.5歳,女:9歳),座高(11.5,10),体重(7-8,8),胸囲(11,11)時に出現した。負の最大歪度は身長も座高も男子14歳時,女子12歳時に出現した。3)最大の緩尖度•急尖度は身長(男:13,15歳;女:11,14歳),座高(13,19;11,21),体重(13,7;12,7),胸囲(14,7;17,20)時にそれぞれ認められた
Somatotype in the Mentally Retarded Children
The purpose of the present study is to clarify the somatotype in the mentally retarded and the normal children 9 through 16 years of age. The mentally retarded subjects consist of 443 boys and 250 girls. The I.O.'s of most of them are under 75. The intellectually normal subjects are 339 boys and 302 girls.
