A Comparative Study of the Structure of Nisei and of Native Japanese
An anthropometric examination was conducted of 3563 Niseis, who were born in the United States to parents of pure Japanese stock. As compared with the native Japanese adult, the stature of Nisei is 5 to 9.3cms. greater and the weight 9 to 12kgs. heavier. An Anthropological Study of Mixed-Blood Children of Japanese White and Negro Parentage
Studies have been made since 1949 on 201 white American-Japanese and 66 Negro-Japanese hybrids in the Tokyo area and in Kanagawa Prefecture. They were all under six years of age, and their mothers were invariably Japanese. The results are as follows:(1) Blood type.
