Evidences Concerning the Neural Groundwork Underlying Certain Behavior Patterns1
Cases are described in which states ranging from a relatively simple expression of emotion to a complex psychotic picture are closely associated with, and presumably activated by, the epileptic process. Four different states are described: weeping; fear, probably associated with unconscious thought; pure depression alternating with elation; a picture of hebephrenic schizophrenia.
