Dimensions of Alcoholism
Responses of alcoholics to a variety of scales were analyzed to identify dimensions of alcoholism. The major factor that emerged was loss of control over drinking. A successfully treated group had higher scores on a marital-emotional disruption factor than a therapeutic failure group
