Work Satisfaction Under Yugoslav Self-Management: On Participation, Authority, and Ownership
After reviewing the history and current practice of self-management in Yugoslavia, we examine net effects on work satisfaction from being a self-management delegate, a manager or supervisor, or the owner of a private business, along with other variables. An Action Program to Attract Slovene Workers to Return Home
The Murska Sobota commune in the region of Pomurje in Slovenia Yugoslavia has been selected as a target area for action research on programs to attract return migrants home from Germany and Austria to stimulate socioeconomic development. The potential returnees interviewed were primarily men (76%) their age raned from 26 to 48 years and they have been abroad an average of 11 years. 46% are unskilled and 26% are skilled industrial workers.
