The Reported Value of Rural Internal Medicine Residency Electives and Factors That Influence Rural Career Choice
This study examines how rural electives affect medical residents' opinions about rural practice and which factors encourage or discourage choice of rural practice. Participants in a one‐ to two‐month rural elective and a matched group of randomly selected nonparticipants were surveyed.
