Open Access•Chelsey Porter Erlank, Mensimah Bentsi-Enchill et al.•ARTICLE•PLOS Global Public Health•2026

Subcutaneous depot medroxyprogesterone acetate, or DMPA-SC, is an injectable contraceptive that can be administered by any trained person, including for self-injection. Open Access•Chelsey Porter Erlank, Gracious Ali et al.•ARTICLE•PLOS Global Public Health•2023

Providers play an instrumental role in building client confidence to self-inject through counselling/training. Th…

  • Private health care market shaping and changes in inequities in childhood diarrhoea treatment coverage

Open Access•Tiwadayo Braimoh, Isaac M Danat et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal for Equity…•2021

The results show a pro-rural improvement in coverage and a reduction in coverage inequities across wealth quintiles from baseline to endline. This gives an indication that initiatives focused on shaping healthcare market systems may be effective in reducing health coverage gaps without detracting from equity as a health policy objective
