    17 pre-delinquent, 17 mixed psychiatric, and 17 normal adolescent males and their parents were compared for sex-role orientation and preference. No differences were found among groups. Sex-role orientation and preference were appropriate for each group, indicating a congruence between biological sex and sex-role identification and interests.
