  • The Homotopy Type of Two-regular K-theory

Luke Hodgkin, Paul Arne Østvær•CHAPTER•Categorical Decomposition…•2003

We identify the 2-adic homotopy type of the algebraic K -theory space for rings of integers in two-regular exceptional number fields. The answer is given in terms of well-known spaces considered in topological K -theory. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.

  • The Radicalisation of Science

    Open Access•Jock Young, Steven P R Rose et al.•BOOK•The Radicalisation of science•1976

The contemporary world projects a perplexing picture of political, social and economic upheaval. In these challenging times the conventional wisdoms of orthodox social thought whether it be sociology, economics or cultural studies become inadequate. This series focuses on this intellectual crisis, selecting authors whose work seeks to transcend the limitations of conventional discourse.
