An Acoustic Description of Aragonese Spanish
This paper aims to offer a comprehensive acoustic description of Aragonese Spanish.The analysis is based on spoken samples from 25 speakers of Aragonese Spanish.The current study includes an analysis of the phonetic characteristics of vowel, including diphthongs and triphthongs, of consonants and of prosody.Furthermore, the present paper also analyses the allophones of Aragonese Spanish and some phonetic processes, such as spirantization of voice…

The aim of this work is to deeply analyze how possession is revealed in notarial documents written in the center and the south part of Aragón in the 15th century. Special attention will be paid to this construction: (article) + noun + possessive pronoun (la casa mía), as its origin and expansion is located in Aragón; and also to this one: possessive adjective + noun (mi casa), as it is the common structure in Castilian by the same period of time.…
