    The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) were one of the most important mass organizations in revolutionary Cuba.     This essay reflects critically on the neoliberal Chile of the last forty years. Taking Byung-Chul Han's The Burnout Society as a frame of reference, the essay offers an analysis of the recent Chilean uprising.
