Gender Culture or Gender System? Family Gender Arrangements and Stay‐At‐Home Fathers in Late‐Twentieth‐Century Australia
This article asks: what are the factors that encourage and enable, or require and force, some fathers to reduce employment and stay home with children? It draws upon a conceptual model which examines how ‘gender cultures’ and ‘gender systems’ shape ‘gender arrangements’ of work and family life. The RCP greenhouse gas concentrations and their extensions from 1765 to 2300
We present the greenhouse gas concentrations for the Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) and their extensions beyond 2100, the Extended Concentration Pathways (ECPs). These projections include all major anthropogenic greenhouse gases and are a result of a multi-year effort to produce new scenarios for climate change research. Female streetworker—prostitutes in Glasgrow
The objective of this study is to describe the lifestyle of a group of female prostitutes. The collection of information was achieved by: (i) using a self administered questionnaire; and (ii) conducting conversational type interviews. Of 85 women attending a health care drop-in centre for female street prostitutes in Glasgow, 63 completed the questionnaire and 72 participated in conversational interviews.
