  • Mulberry polyphenols (Abru) promote bone formation and alleviate bone loss via dual regulation of bone metabolism

Open Access•Linyuan Xue, Jiyixuan Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • A Review of Classification, Causes, and Amelioration of Global Salt‐Affected Soil Based on the Meta‐Analysis

Open Access•Bing Liang, Jianbing Wei et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2025

Soil salinization poses a significant threat to sustainable global agriculture, critically impacting plant growth, soil fertility, and ecosystem stability. This paper first provides a comprehensive overview of soil salinization, including its definition, types, classifications, global distribution, historical continuity, and associated environmental impacts. Then, we examine salinization's causes, processes, and mechanisms, offering an in‐depth c…

  • The relationship between medical staff burnout and subjective wellbeing

Open Access•Jia Fan, Yuyang Chang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2024

Background: Medical staff play a crucial role in delivering healthcare services, especially during epidemics of infectious diseases such as coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). However, there is a growing issue of burnout and low wellbeing among this group. While it is widely recognized that burnout has a negative impact on subjective wellbeing, the exact relationship between the two is not yet completely understood. The purpose of this study is …

  • Cinobufagin induces Foxo1-regulated apoptosis, proliferation, migration, and invasion by inhibiting G9a in non-small-cell lung cancer A549 cells

Open Access•Lingling Zhang, Bing Liang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2022

Our study provides the first evidence that cinobufagin suppresses the malignant biological behaviours of NSCLC cells in vivo and in vitro and suggests that mechanistically, this effect may be achieved by inhibiting the expression of the histone methyltransferase G9a and activating the tumour suppressor gene FOXO1. Taken together, our findings provide important insights into the molecular mechanism underlying cinobufagin's anticancer activity, and…

  • Molecular phylogenetic relationships among Sichuan snub-nosed monkeys (Rhinopithecus roxellanae) inferred from mitochondrial cytochrome-b gene sequences

Open Access•Ming Li, Bing Liang et al.•ARTICLE•Primates•2001

  • Seasonality of matings and births in captive Sichuan golden monkeys (Rhinopithecus roxellana)

Open Access•Shuyi Zhang, Bing Liang et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Primatology•2000

  • Seasonality of matings and births in captive Sichuan golden monkeys (Rhinopithecus roxellana)

Open Access•Shuyi Zhang, Bing Liang et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Primatology•2000

This study, based on three years of mating behavior observations and 10 years of birth records, reveals that Sichuan golden monkeys in captivity displayed a marked seasonality of mating behavior and births. The peak of matings occurred around October, and births occurred in March-June. The birth peak followed the mating peak by six to seven months. This seasonal cycle of matings and births was similar to observations made in the wild, where both …
