Nos encontramos ante un breve estudio del expresionismo artístico en la posguerra (1919-1933),etapa que fue muy fecunda. De tal modo que al referirse a este movimiento habría que hablar más bien de forma de vivir, sino que se adentra en la arquitectura y el diseño -la Bauhaus- la literatura, en todos sus géneros bajo la influencia de la Worttrunkheit, nuevo estilo del que bebieron Kafka, Döblin y otros.
