Bishop Henry Marshall's Tomb in Exeter Cathedral
It has long been recognized that the effigy of Bishop Henry Marshall ( ob. 1206) in the choir of Exeter Cathedral is set on a tomb chest of later date, and their dimensions and style show that the two did not originally belong to the same monument.
