Applying Principles of a Fair and Just Culture to a Student Scenario
Background: This article reviews national efforts toward promoting fair and just cultures in schools of nursing. A real-life vignette in which a nursing student made a medication error is presented, and the nursing program contacted the nursing regulatory body for advice on how to handle the situation.
